Þingvellir national park is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It contains the physical remains of the Alþing and its long persistence at Þingvellir. The old assembly site landscape is well preserved. This experience project “Find the past in Thingvellir“ is an attempt to explore the ruins of booths and other remainsas well as the life at the Althing around the year 1000.
